At BAYADA Home Health Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a home health care professional, you will play a vital role in providing personalized rehabilitative care to clients in their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
- Develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes and continually assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan as needed.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
The ideal candidate will possess a current PA Occupational Therapist license, prior home care experience, and a minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are also essential.
