About the Job
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated occupational therapist to join our team. As a home health occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Duties
- Visit patients in their homes to assess their needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions to promote patient independence and self-care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
- A current Maryland Occupational Therapist license
- Prior home care experience preferred, but not required
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
