BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on O'ahu. As a home health PTA, you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as outlined by a licensed Physical Therapist.
How You’ll Make an Impact :
Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist Implement appropriate individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions Educate and instruct clients, family members, and other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management

Qualifications for BAYADA PTAs :
A current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Hawaii Have graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, _OR_ Have two years of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977 Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
