We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at BAYADA Home Health Care.
About the Job
This is a full-time position that involves working with clients in their homes throughout Orleans County, Vermont and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide physical therapy services, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Requirements
- A current Vermont Physical Therapist license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
