Physical Therapy Home Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team of home healthcare professionals. As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA Home Health Care, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of clients' own homes.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating clients' physical abilities, creating personalized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve clients' mobility and function. Additionally, they will educate clients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for maintaining independence and preventing complications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' physical abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct patient care, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities.
• Educate clients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for maintaining independence and preventing complications.

Requirements:

• A current NJ Physical Therapist license.
• A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
