Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Emigsville, Pennsylvania. This full-time position offers a competitive salary package, including a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
As a member of our home health care team, you will work closely with patients in their homes, providing personalized physical therapy services to help them achieve optimal health and independence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing diagnostic tests and measurements to assess patients' mobility, strength, and balance.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions.
- Continually assessing and revising patients' care plans, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
- Educating patients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current PA Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Solid computer skills, preferably with experience using electronic medical records (EMR).
