Senior Homecare Physical Therapist
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our team in providing personalized rehabilitation care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to our clients.
About the Role
This is a senior-level position requiring significant experience and expertise in physical therapy. You will be responsible for assessing clients' physical and functional abilities, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and conducting diagnostic tests and measurements. You will also be responsible for implementing integumentary protective interventions and accurately documenting client observations, interventions, and evaluations.
Responsibilities
* Assess clients' physical and functional abilities during home visits
* Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions
* Conduct diagnostic tests and measurements, such as range of motion, transfer status, and balance testing
* Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair
* Accurately document client observations, interventions, and evaluations
Requirements
* Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license
* Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
* Significant experience and expertise in physical therapy
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
