BAYADA Home Health Care is a leading provider of home healthcare services, seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Cranford, NJ.
About the Job
- This is a full-time opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Somerset and Middlesex Counties.
The ideal candidate will possess a current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NJ, and a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Prior home care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluation results, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided.
