Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
- Assessing cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects of performance and developing individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Continually assessing and revising the occupational therapy care plan, and participating with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a current Maryland Occupational Therapist license and have prior experience working as a Rehabilitation Specialist or in a related field.
