We are seeking an experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care to seniors in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories to assess and evaluate their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the client's specific physical therapy requirements.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns, and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, such as manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions, to promote wound repair and prevent further injury.
- Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
To be successful in this role, you will require a current Maryland Physical Therapist license, a minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist, and strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
