About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide per diem home health services in Uniontown, Ohio. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will make home visits to clients, conducting thorough evaluations, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for individuals experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
Responsibilities include developing treatment plans based on client needs, continually assessing and revising care plans, and educating patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living. Accurate documentation of patient care management and services provided is also essential.
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Ohio is required.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or meet equivalent educational requirements with relevant work experience.
- Solid computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR), are preferred.
