About the Job:
This is a per diem opportunity to provide home health care services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Granville, Vance, Franklin, Person, Caswell, and Orange counties.
As an occupational therapist on our team, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
- Evaluate and assess patients' functional status to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- A current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
