BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Morton Plant in Clearwater!
The Assistant Nurse Manager:
- Is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills.
- Is responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring , counseling and terminating process.
- Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Certifications and Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Nurse Specialty - preferred
Required Education:
- Bachelor's in Nursing
Experience:
- 2 year RN in an Acute, Post-Acute, or Sub-Acute Setting
- 1 year leadership experience
