Position Description: Charge Nurse- NICU
- The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
- Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information
- The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS
- 2 years RN acute care experience
- 1 Year RN NICU experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or BS Healthcare related field or an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification
- Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid
Preferred:
- 1 year Leadership experience

Location: St Josephs North
Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 6:15PM - 6:45AM
Shift: Shift 3
Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: Yes
