Seasonal Pool 13–26-week single hospital assignment or multi hospital float assignment (MUST LIVE GREATER THAN 100 MILES FROM FACILITY)
Positions details- Registered Nurse- ER 13–26-week assignment
- Location: St. Joseph's Main, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and BayCare Wesley Chapel Hospitals (Float between facilities)
- Status: Pool, Non-Exempt
- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call: No
- Always in person
The Registered Nurse –ER responsibilities and skills:
- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ER patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Care for patients throughout their recovery in critical care.
- Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
- Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.
- Professional accountability and development
Requirements:
- RN (Registered Nurse) License
- Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
- 2-year experience of ER in an Acute Care setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS & PALS certifications with the American Heart Association
