BayCare HomeCare is currently in search of our newest Home Health Aide who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

- Status: Per Visit (PRN)
- Shift Hours: Varies
- Weekend Work: Occasional
- On Call: No
- Home visits in assigned service area: Pasco County, FL

The Home Health Aide provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols. Responsibilities include:
- Working under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patients

Following the patients' plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional

Maintaining an open communication process with the patient, representative (if any), caregivers, and family
- Demonstrating competency with assigned tasks; complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures; reports changes in the patient condition; and honors patient rights
Required Certifications and Licensures:
- Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour program
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Education:
- Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Preferred 1 year Home Care
