Summary:
- Be the face of BayCare Health Plans and be responsible for prospecting and selling BayCarePlus Medicare Advantage plans to our Medicare community.
- Responsibilities include following organizational processes and policies to respond to marketing prospects, self-generating their own prospects, developing relationships with assigned in-network providers, partnering with local community organizations, organizing and attending local events to promote the plan, and achieving sales goals.
- Schedule and staff sales events.
- Must adhere to all regulations set forth by CMS and maintain BayCare's values and ethical standards.
Education:
- HS Graduate or Equivalent GED - required
Credentials:
- Required licensure: 2-15 or 2-40 Florida Insurance Agent License within 60 days.
- Required certification: BayCare Health Plans Producer Certification within 60 days.
- Individual must obtain and maintain AHIP (America's Health Insurance Plans), annual certification and pass required background checks.
Experience:
- Required Sales experience; preferred one Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) season.

Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Weekend Work: Rotation. Required to work at least one Saturday and one Sunday per month from January through April and every weekend during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct - Dec).
On Call: No
How often will this team member be working remotely? Hybrid, alternate between working telephonically and in the office (1-2 days per week), based on the needs of the health plan.
