BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced RN First Assist (RNFA)to join our compassionate staffing resource office team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:
System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available
Seasonal Pool has a mileage eligibility 13-week assignment for assignment department/hospital-unit provided schedule-block scheduling not available
Summary
A Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) responsibilities include:
- The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
- Position requires Trocar insertion under direct surgeon supervision and requires injection of local anesthetic under surgeon supervision
- For this position, we strongly prefer a minimum of 3 years RN experience in the Operating Room. Current CNOR and Technical Program completion are required.

Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: Yes - Must take call and late stay when needed. Be within 30min of facility or willing to stay in sleep room. Must be proficient in robotics, ortho, plastics and general.
