What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar I - Tampa position at BayCare?
BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.
This is a patient-facing position. This position requires on-site training in Clearwater, FL for 15 business days in addition to training at the St Joseph's Main or St Joseph's Women and Children's location. Please only apply if you're comfortable with the training period in Clearwater, FL in addition to being in a patient-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- The Registrar I may be responsible for any of the following: Registration, Customer Service, Insurance Verification, Financial Counseling, Scheduling, Bed Control, Cashier or Reception and must demonstrate proficiency in at least three of these modalities (one must be Registration) within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of additional modalities within department may qualify team member for career advancement (Registrar Career Ladder). Team member may be required to rotate shift periodically and take call. Team member will perform other duties as assigned.
