What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Janitor position at Bayer Built Woodworks?
JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure that the facility is clean, presentable, and in an orderly fashion for customers, visitors, and team members. Assist maintenance team when all other duties are completed. Typical hours will be 5 AM - 2 PM. (Monday - Friday).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Sweep parking lots as needed before employees show up.
- Assist in lawn care if needed.
- Pressure wash golf carts once a month.
- Vacuum all reachable racking as time allows.
- Pull all product out from floor levels and sweep under as time allows.
- Take direction from leadership/management if an area needs attention.
- Assist Janitorial with garbage at truck shed if janitorial is gone.
- Visually inspect areas daily for areas needing attention.
- Scrubbing all main fork traffic areas daily.
- Scrubbing each area once a week or as needed.
- Empty garbage cans
- Dust
- Clean bathrooms
- Clean lunch rooms
- Scrub, wax and vacuum floors
- Order all cleaning supplies
- Housekeeping
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist other departments when needed
- Clean up grounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
