What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator Specialist position at Bayer Interior Woods - Sauk Centre?
Monday through Thursday 10-hour shifts.
KOMO CNC Operator:
- Ability to read and understand part stickers, cabinet drawings, and material sheets
- Ability to distinguish wood species, color, and thickness of material and edge banding
- Ability to understand standard and metric measurements
- Ability to learn machine maintenance/set up with accuracy and according to job specifications
- Run components accurately and efficiently according to company specifications
- Accurately apply labels to parts
- Inspect for quality and accuracy
- Sort and stack components for the next step within the process
- Clean work area and store equipment and supplies appropriately
- Follow all procedures and safe work practices
- Ability to safely and independently lift 50-75 pounds
- All other duties as assigned
Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
OPERATOR must control machines and processes as they handle and move objects and perform activities that use their entire body. They must get and process information needed to do the job. They must inspect and maintain mechanical equipment, monitor materials, and evaluate them against standards.
Special Job Demands (working conditions, travel, hazards, etc.):
OPERATORS are sometimes exposed to hazardous situations that produce cuts. There is a moderate possibility of slight injury. However, following safety precautions can reduce the risk of injury.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.25 - $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
