Job Summary
Join our team as a 2nd Shift Lab Technician responsible for processing incoming raw materials, intermediates, bulk, and finished product samples in a cGMP laboratory setting. You will conduct standard physical and chemical analyses to ensure compliance with approved procedures and specifications under the guidance of a QC Manager.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety programs, GMPs, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Process incoming laboratory samples, record batches in the logbook, and create composite samples for testing.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on various products following approved procedures.
- Assist in non-compliance investigations for in-process work.
- Prepare reagent solutions and sample grinds for testing purposes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all testing activities in compliance with Bayer and Regulatory guidelines.
- Perform glassware washing, monitor equipment maintenance needs, and handle hazardous waste disposal.
- Participate in laboratory safety audits and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Update testing procedures records when revised or replaced and assist in revising SOPs as needed.
Skills
- High school degree or equivalent; Associate degree in science is a plus.
- At least 2 years of relevant post-high school education or experience in the sciences.
- Fluency in English with the ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in testing and paperwork completion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in GMP or government-regulated industry preferred.
