The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our data platforms by conducting analysis and investigations. Responsibilities:
- Influence and implement an end-to-end vision for presenting production data within an analysis platform.
- Investigate short-term problems and long-term data needs using Python and SQL skills, presenting findings clearly.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to define, document, implement, and maintain business processes and data workflows.
- Develop data visualizations and reporting solutions based on feedback from Engineers, PCIT Developers, and End Users.
- Recommend visualization platforms for reports based on requirements, capabilities, policies, and best fit.
- Assist engineers and PCIT developers in creating data reports by gathering requirements and investigating needs.
- Collaborate with managers, regional automation engineers or process engineers as needed.
- Engage in 50% new development activities and 50% maintenance tasks.
Skills:
- Experience in managing complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals within timelines.
- Knowledge of data governance concepts and implementation.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics, Change Management, Data Historian/Time Series Data.
- Strong skills in SQL, MSSQL, Python; familiarity with Data Modeling and relational integrity.
- Experience with ETL across various technologies; preference for Denodo/Data virtualization experience.
- Understanding of deployment process flow concepts; proficiency in Tableau Server/Desktop/Prep setup and dashboard building.
- Proactive attitude with results orientation; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally while considering differing perspectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; an associate degree with relevant experience is acceptable.
- 4-6 years of experience required.
