Farming Infrastructure Manager
The Farming Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for maintaining our farmland, facilities, and machinery/equipment used for research plots and production processes, ensuring safety and quality in alignment with applicable procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance: Conduct and complete maintenance on company facilities and equipment.
- Weed Pressure Management: Manage weed pressure on the farm by applying commercial pesticides and following compliance regulations for application.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an active inventory of parts, supplies, and tools to complete needed repairs and meet availability expectations.
- Service Coordination: Coordinate and schedule service/maintenance work for assets on site.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for all equipment and facility maintenance activities performed.
- HSE Standards: Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to Bayer's HSE Environmental Safety & Health and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications: Commercial Pesticide Applicators License or ability to obtain license
- Skills: Basic knowledge of IT (Internet, Excel, PPT, Word, facilities with systems)
- Physical Abilities: Able to lift, push, and pull 40-50 pounds regularly
- Availability: Availability to meet overtime demands, including occasional work on weekends and holidays
