Prostate cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in men and a key area of focus for Bayer. The company’s franchise includes two marketed products, NUBEQA (darolutamide) and XOFIGO (radium 223). NUBEQA (darolutamide) is a flagship therapy for Bayer Pharmaceuticals given its importance to patients and blockbuster status. We also have several compounds in development.

The Manager NUBEQA Marketing position is an exciting opportunity for a high energy individual interested in driving strategic marketing initiatives for Bayer’s flagship oncology brand. The Manager NUBEQA Marketer will accelerate sales growth through the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical marketing plans in current and future indications

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Manager NUBEQA Marketing, are to:

Establish NUBEQA leadership in prostate cancer by:

• Driving implementation of effective marketing strategies and tactics across personal and non-personal promotion, media, and digital marketing designed to deliver on our outcomes;
• Embracing principles of Dynamic Shared Ownership with a focus on Outcomes;
• Leading and participating in complex matrix teams in development, prioritization, and flawless tactical execution;
• Supporting the brand plan process;
• Supporting relationships with 3rd party vendors to ensure successful execution and KPI measurement for media/NPP/digital tactics;
• Leading development and PRT (promotional review team) approval of advertising and promotional materials for branded and unbranded initiatives;
• Partnering with Field Sales, Learning & Development, Commercial Operations, Business Insights, Digital Team, Data Science & Advanced Analytics to effectively communicate marketing strategies and key tactics with field teams;
• Contributing to an environment that fosters learning, open communication, camaraderie, and fun through innovation and new ideas in an evolving Next Normal.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS is required;
• 2-4 years of Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience required;
• Marketing experience required;
• Strong cross functional collaboration skills required;
• Passionate and self motivated individual who thrives in a high intensity, fast paced environment;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required;
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree preferred;
• Experience in Oncology and/or Urology strongly preferred (but not required);
