Project Manager Product Supply

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Project Manager Product Supply, are to:

• Lead consulting projects across all Bayer divisions and platform functions for the Product Supply group (focus areas include supply chain management, manufacturing strategy, operational excellence, and procurement);
• Manage project organization and coordination with multiple sub-teams, working at times with other departments and external consultants;
• Own project scope, team management, deliverables, and client relationships;
• Drive content management of (sub-) projects and proposals, develop concepts and recommendations;
• Oversee workshop design, preparation, and facilitation;
• Represent the respective Director or VP towards clients (e.g. presentation in steering committees);
• Develop and coach junior team members, foster environment of continuous learning;
• Support marketing of the business consulting service spectrum / project acquisition.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree;
• Prior knowledge and experience in the area of Product Supply (supply chain management, manufacturing strategy, operational excellence, procurement);
• Solid knowledge / understanding of at least one of the relevant Bayer industries (Pharma, Consumer Health, Crop Science);
• Demonstrated track record of working independently and achieving measurable results;
• Proven project management skills;
• Strong understanding of general business processes (finance, commercial, operations etc.);
• Overall proficiency in core consulting skills (story lining, analytics, interviewing, research / intelligence gathering, workshop facilitation, slide design, etc.);
• Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, persuasiveness and strong team spirit;
• Leadership and influencing skills and experience, ability to deal with senior clients in complex situations; Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

• MBA;
• Four years of professional work experience;
• Experience in a top tier management consulting firm;
• Promotion to project manager (or equivalent) at a leading management consulting firm or internal strategy / inhouse consulting practice at a large company.
