Job Summary:
Join our QC Chemistry team at Bayer Berkeley site as a skilled professional responsible for conducting chemical testing on final products and intermediate products. Your role will involve performing routine release testing of raw materials and drug products, executing QC assays, and ensuring lab organization and cleanliness. Utilize your expertise in wet chemistry and instrumentation analysis, including pH, conductivity, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, atomic absorption, Karl Fischer, and Osmolality. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced lab analysts in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine release testing of raw materials and drug products
- Conduct QC assays following established guidelines
- Maintain lab organization and cleanliness
- Utilize knowledge of wet chemistry techniques
- Operate instrumentation for analysis including pH, conductivity, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, etc.
Skills:
- Proficiency in wet chemistry techniques
- Experience with instrumentation analysis (pH, conductivity, etc.)
- Knowledge of cGMP testing standards
- Ability to handle chemicals safely
- Familiarity with pharmacopoeia such as USP-NF, EP, JP, ChP
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
