About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a Co-Op Systems Engineer to join our team at Bayer.
You will work closely with our experienced engineers to support various phases of product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support systems engineering responsibilities at various phases of product development;
- Work with a team to face challenges that arise during product development, and engineer solutions to meet deadlines;
- Work in both a desk and laboratory setting to apply a hands-on mindset to solving problems.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong foundation in systems engineering principles and practices;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- The ability to work 40 hours per week;
- Enrollment in either an accredited bachelor degree program or graduate program with an emphasis in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering;
- Completion of at least sophomore year;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Some laboratory experience is highly desirable;
- Coursework in medical device development/regulatory affairs is highly desirable.
