Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy Business Analyst to support the development of a unified data model for regulatory reporting. This role will play a key part in consolidating disparate financial data processes into a centralized Snowflake-based platform, aligning with new and evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to identify, define, and document data requirements for regulatory reports such as Y-14A and Y-14M.
Collaborate with the data engineering team to translate business needs into structured data sets.
Gather requirements from cross-functional finance teams to drive standardization across reporting assets.
Perform data validation and testing to ensure integrity and compliance of the final output.
Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst working in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of data processes and the ability to articulate the business rationale behind financial data requirements.
Hands-on experience gathering and validating requirements for external regulatory reporting.
Experience with Snowflake or other modern data platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with Adenza (Axiom), DataIQ, or Alteryx is a strong advantage.
Candidates with a background in deposit systems and business data understanding will be highly considered.
