Role Title: Information Security Analyst
Client: Wholesale Building Materials Company
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Preferred Location: Solon, OH would be preferred but Remote is completely acceptable (EST time zone)
Role Description:
- Implement and oversee cybersecurity programs and projects to strengthen the organization's security framework.
- Conduct hands-on platform evaluations to ensure technologies such as Azure, Proofpoint, 365 Defender, Meraki, are configured and secured correctly.
- Perform AI security assessments, manage the SAAS stack, and run OT vulnerability management projects to ensure security.
- Facilitate framework assessments and collaborate with IT teams to address and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Support cybersecurity audits, self-assessments, and evaluations, including vendor SAAS reviews and implementation assurance for BI initiatives.
- Ensure plant, manufacturing, and IoT environments are secure, isolated, and compliant with security standards.
- Facilitate corrective actions related to threat and vulnerability management.
- Provide log forensics and incident response analysis to ensure rapid and effective mitigation of security threats.
- Assist in developing and maintaining KPIs and SLAs in collaboration with the Division Director.
- Stay current with emerging security trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the organization remains well-informed and protected.
- Support and promote cybersecurity communication, awareness, and training programs to instill a security-first mindset among end users and IT teams.
- Ensure that business and technology decisions integrate security risk management considerations.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst, with hands-on experience in relevant technologies such as Microsoft 365 technologies, Microsoft Azure, 365 Defender
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, implement, and maintain cybersecurity tools and platforms.
- Strong experience conducting AI security assessments, SAAS evaluations, and vulnerability management.
- Proven ability to secure plant/manufacturing/OT /IoT environments.
- In-depth knowledge of incident response, log forensics, and threat analysis.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for facilitating security initiatives across divisions.
