Position Summary

Position: Supply Chain Inventory Coordinator Tech I
Schedule: Full-time 40hrs per week; may require some weekends and holidays
The Supply Chain Inventory Coordinator Tech I is responsible for assisting with supporting the daily operational needs.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Assists with maintaining supply locationsto include the establishment, organization, labeling, cleaning, assessment, receipt, delivery and restocking of supplies.
- Responsible for rotating dated stock and maintaining a working stock level of supplies in the warehouse and par locations, and the removal of overstocked supplies.
- Monitors the condition of supplies and the supply area for appropriate par levels, cleanliness of supply locations and accuracy of labeling.
- Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventoried items.
- Uses hand-held device to inventory supply locations and charge out supplies to various departments.
- Uses pick tickets to pick inventory for re-stock orders, emergency, and rush orders.
- Answers the telephone or customer requests with appropriate Orlando Health commitment to excellence customer service responses.
- Assists with disposing of cardboard and trash into designated trash receptacles.
- Provides support for annual or bi-annual inventory counts to determine asset value and additional inventory as requested.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. This requires professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
- Maintains safe and clean working area including removal and disposal of waste material in an appropriate manner.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
- Processes and logs all system file updates related to supply location inventory updates and replenishment.
- Performs cycle counts as needed.
- Presents a consistent professional image in dress and communications.
- Operates materials handling equipment, as needed.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
Qualifications
Education/Training/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, preferred
Licensure/CertificationValid driver’s license
