Job Description
Location: Sussex Campus Hospital, Unit 6A Med Surg / Acuity Adaptable (Neuro)
Status: Full Time, 36 hours per week
Shift: Nights (7:00pm to 7:00am)
We are a comprehensive healthcare system serving central and southern Delaware with multiple locations, including Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus, Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus, and various satellite facilities.
The Clinical Coordinator is a member of the management team who assists the Nurse Manager in daily operations on a 24-hour basis. This role involves direct supervision of staff, rotating shifts as needed, and providing leadership to unit-based work groups.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide direct patient care, prioritizing tasks based on immediate conditions
- Rotate shifts and weekends as needed to ensure management visibility and promote continuity of care
- Develop and evaluate nursing standards and protocols for safe, effective, and compassionate care
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality care
