Job Summary:
We are seeking a Collegiate Nursing Care Technician to join our team. This role provides exposure and experience in an acute care setting for student nurses preparing for a career as a professional nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follows established plan of care, including vital signs, blood glucose testing, hygiene, and assistance with ADL's.
- Performs non-sterile dressing changes, wound irrigation, foley catheter irrigation, and application of ace wraps under RN direction.
- Communicates relevant patient information to RN within appropriate time frame based on level of urgency.
Requirements:
- Actively enrolled ADN or BSN Nursing Student who has completed one medical surgical clinical rotation in an acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support certification.
