Salary Range: $82,513.60 - $134,867.20 per year
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in emergency department nursing to join our leadership team as an ED Supervising Nurse. Key responsibilities include:
- Direct Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to all nursing team members, promoting leadership presence and visibility on the unit.
- Patient Care Coordination: Ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient care through effective allocation of resources, management of supplies and equipment, and participation in safety initiatives.
- Team Building: Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff and external partners.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with current professional practice standards, laws, and regulations, including the ANA Code of Ethics and Bill of Rights, EMTALA, The Joint Commission, and CMS.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program;
- Current RN licensure and certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Trauma Nursing Core Course Certification;
- At least three years of experience in emergency department nursing;
- A Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required.
