Now Hiring: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Presbyterian Hospital, 1100 Central Ave. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106
Start Date: 02/24/2025
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $15/hr on W2 $800/weekly per diem
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
75-Mile Radius Rule: No local travelers (must live outside a 75-mile straight-line radius)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform decontamination, assembly, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments for the OR and other hospital departments.
- Prioritize tasks to support patient care in the OR and customer departments.
- Maintain accurate records demonstrating compliance with professional and regulatory agencies.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years in a large OR (experience with Ortho, ENT, or Vascular cases is a plus)
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
- Certification: BLS (American Heart Association, American Health & Safety, or American Red Cross)
Additional Details:
- Orientation: First week of the contract (up to 40 total hours), includes EPIC training
- Scrubs Required
