Job Posting: LPN/LVN – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Facility: Pleasant Ridge Manor
Location: 8300 W Ridge Rd, Girard, PA 16417, USA
Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM (Every Other Weekend Required)
Compensation:
- Local Candidates: $38/hr (W2)
- Travelers: $25/hr (W2) $976/weekly per diem
- EMR System: PointClickCare (PCC)
Key Notes:
- Trauma Level: ---
- PCC charting experience required (minimal training provided).
- Certifications: BLS required.
Responsibilities:
- Medication and treatment administration, blood glucose monitoring, IV meds, TPN, tube feedings, wound care, lab draws, ADL assistance, vitals monitoring, oxygen management, and more.
- RNs only: Central line care, chest tube management, IV starts, admission orders, and fall assessments.
- Participate in care plan meetings (as needed for short-term residents).
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in LTC within the last 3 years.
- Familiarity with measuring wounds.
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
Additional Details:
- Orientation: 3 days.
- Scrub Color: Any professional scrubs except camo.
- Holiday and Weekend Requirements: Work holidays if scheduled; every other weekend required.
- Health Requirements: All health items must be submitted within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
Important Policies:
- Must use facility timeclock (COTA system).
- Badge replacement fee: $7.
- 1st offense: Verbal warning.
- 2nd offense: Written warning.
- 3rd offense: Final written warning.
- 4th offense: Termination.
- No shift switching allowed until contract extension.
