Location: Northside Hospital Gwinnett
Address: 1000 Medical Center Boulevard, Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30046
Schedule: 8-Hour Days Shift | Mon-Fri (Varies)
pay: $120- $130/hr on w2
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: 01/06/2025
Pay(Travelers only – local candidates not allowed within 50 miles)
Position Overview:
The Staff Perfusionist will be responsible for operating extracorporeal equipment and providing vital care for patients across all age groups. Duties include:
- Cardiopulmonary bypass
- Autotransfusion
- Intra-aortic balloon pump counter pulsation
- Stand-by support, short/long-term ventricular assist, and other related services
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years within the specialty
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of perfusion technology
- Licensed Perfusionist in Georgia
- Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Skills: Demonstrated clinical competency, leadership, and sound judgment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science
- 3 years of recent clinical perfusion experience
