Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, supervising a staff accountant, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a staff accountant, ensuring alignment with our companys clinical and operational goals.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare and manage end-of-month financial reporting, providing insights to senior management.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash flow and account balances.
- Participate actively in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to optimize billing processes and collections.
- Analyze contractual adjustments within the healthcare industry to maintain compliance and maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: starting at $120,000/year. Additional Performance Bonus available

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare financial practices, including revenue cycle management and contractual adjustments.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
