What We're Looking For
This position will support the mission and vision of Baylor University by leading overall strategy of financial aid communication to students and families while maintaining compliance and excellent customer service.
A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A master's degree and five years of relevant experience are preferred.
Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

- Strong leadership skills.

- Analytical, communication and office management skills.
- Exhibit integrity, creativity and professionalism when working on group projects and managing a team.
- Ability to load and troubleshoot software problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
- Ability to take initiative and to set or reorder priorities independently.
- Experience using Banner in a Technical Support capacity.
- Technical expertise with data extraction techniques.
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, SAS, Crystal Reports).
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining/segmentation techniques, SQL and programming.
A valid Texas Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.
A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Serve as brand expert and divisional leader for all financial services communications.
- Strategize and manage all communications to prospective and current students and parents via email, text, live chat, website, mail, app, presentations and other mediums as needed.
- Coordinate with university Compliance and leadership to ensure all financial services consumer information and regulatory compliance standards are achieved.
- Communicate important financial services communication policies and strategies with key campus partners to ensure the campus community is using consistent language.
- Act as main point of contact for financial aid operations team to ensure data is accurate for each audience.
- Review and verify data for support the processing of all financial aid communications and special projects.
- Regularly audit and strategize the timing and process of each specialized communication effort to provide the most timely and consistent messaging for targeted audiences.
- Partner with existing vendors and maintain excellent relationships to ensure execution is smooth and error-free.
- Lead financial services communications team and ensure that workload strategy is directly in line with the Strategic Enrollment Management plan set forth by university leadership.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
