What We're Looking For
This position is responsible for assisting in the development, management, and expansion of engagement and philanthropic programs specifically targeting parents associated with the university. The position will assist the team with various Parent Engagement Programs, and parent affinity groups, ensuring these initiatives align with the university's strategic goals for community engagement and fundraising.
A bachelor's degree and one year of work experience are required. Three years of work experience is preferred.
A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
A valid US Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.
Must be able to travel outside of the state of Texas.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Assist the director in management of the strategic vision for parent programs, aligning with the university's broader engagement and advancement objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including alumni, parents, donors, volunteers, and university departments, to foster community networks and support for the university.
- Responsible for assisting a range of programs and events, such as workshops, seminars, and networking events aimed at parents, including the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives with the supervisor's direction and leadership.
- Manage timelines to meet deadlines and expectations of leadership and parent program volunteers.
- Work collaboratively across the University Advancement team to deliver programmatic resources that can be utilized in the field, as well as significant collaboration across multiple departments and units within the university.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned for successful programming efforts and to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
