What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking an Assistant Research Scientist to support the mission and vision of Baylor University within the School of Engineering and Computer Science. This is a part-time position.
A Doctoral Degree and three years of relevant work experience is required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Design of microwave waveguide circuit patterns for sensor development.
- Development of vector network analyzer acquisition scripts using Matlab and Arduino development software.
- Development of graphical user interface (GUI) for Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and sensor data acquisition in laboratory.
- Development of Matlab analysis scripts relating waveguide measurements to water measurements.
- Report back to Principle Investigator (PI) and co-PI regarding results of data analysis.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
