What We're Looking For
This position will support the mission and vision of Baylor University by supporting the administration of financial aid. The Enrollment Management Analyst in Financial Aid will maintain a customer service focus with a commitment to timely, accurate aid administration to best support the student experience, cross-functional teamwork, and compliance.
A bachelor's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. Four years of relevant experience is preferred.
Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

- Ability to develop and maintain an intermediate knowledge of various aspects of financial aid policies, system processes, and government regulations to support and assist with recommending efficiencies, monitoring reports, exercising the preliminary steps of professional judgment review, and ensuring successful completion of assigned projects.
- Ability to stay up to date on regulatory and institutional changes, pivoting and communicating as necessary, to ensure compliance and a positive experience for our students, as well as internal partners.
Additional preferred skills:
- Financial Aid and Higher Education experience.
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
- Banner, Federal Student Aid, COD, NSLDS, and other related platform skills.
- Strong working knowledge of industry policies and regulations.
A valid Texas Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.
A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Supports aid administration to all student populations including undergraduate, graduate, seminary, law, and student-athletes.
- Administers aid for federal, state, university, and private financial aid programs.
- Understands Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions timelines, work performed, and how it impacts cross-functional teams, compliance, and student experience.
- Review supporting Financial Aid documentation.
- Use professional analysis and judgement to determine aid eligibility.
- Understand Financial Aid systems, processes, automations, and setup.
- Manually award, package, and re-package financial aid in accordance with policy, procedure, and compliance.
- Analyze, audit, and proactively resolve errors.
- Report areas of responsibility details to supervisor.
- Research, analyze, troubleshoot, and respond to requests from team members, campus partners, students, and families to support customer service and student experience.
- Serves teammates, campus partners, students, families, with a commitment to active listening and effective communication.
- Support tasks, projects, and attend trainings through the Division of Enrollment Management as directed.
- Learn and maintain a thorough knowledge of federal, state, NCAA, and university regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Maintain written policy and procedures.
- Attend training sessions, to include travel, as necessary.
- Assist with special projects and any other task assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
