What We Are Looking For
This position supports Baylor University's mission by serving as a staff LVN in the university health center. The role of the staff LVN is to treat, counsel, teach, encourage and support students as they learn to actively promote their health care.
An Associate’s degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. An Associate’s degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Asses, triage patients
- Obtain vital signs, brief medical and medication history
- Assist with minor procedures
- Administer medication and treatment as ordered by providers
- Administer vaccines and allergy injections
- Point of care testing
- Phlebotomy
- Process clinical medical records and assume responsibility for those records
- Attend and support Health Center and Student Life programs
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
