DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs clinical testing in compliance with CAP, NY, CLIA regulations
- Troubleshoots assay performance
- Operates and maintains the laboratory equipment, maintains the lab following 5S standards
- Performs QC and informs manager / supervisor immediately if systems deviate from the laboratory’s established specification
- Maintains laboratory stock levels and restocking supplies
- Trains new employees as needed
- Performs other duties as required
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics’ Compliance Program
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATION :
Degree : Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technology
Relevant experience : 2-4 yearsCertification (required) : MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)Degree : Master’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technologyRelevant experience : 0-2 yearsCertification (required) : MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)COMPETENCIES :
