DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs testing and troubleshoots assay performance.
- Operates and maintains the laboratory equipment.
- Performs QC and takes appropriate actions if systems deviate from the laboratory’s established specification.
- Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Molecular Genetics Technologist IDegree : Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technologyRelevant experience : 0-2 yearsCertification (preferred) : MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)Molecular Genetics Technologist II
