Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Mechanical Circulatory Support Cardiologist
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced, fellowship trained, board certified, Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS)Cardiologist for our Advanced Heart Failure Transplant team at BSWH Medical Center Temple (636 bed Level I trauma center)Center for Advanced Medicine . Our heart failure services, including heart transplant/ventricular assist devices and ECMO, are growing and additional physician support is needed. You will join a team of 5 advanced heart failure Transplant & MCS specialists.
Duties include inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant& MCS consultation service. Additional responsibilities include ACGME education of Cardiology Fellows and rotating service on the inpatient cardiac transplant service at BSWH Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas, and affiliated instituitions.
Qualifications
- Must be UNOS qualified for the care of patients with cardiac transplants
- An interest in education and research is encouraged, but not essential
- Experience in Advanced Heart Failure Transplant cardiology is preferred
- Provide coverage for Transplant, inpatient and outpatient services .
- Outreach rotations to our centers affiliated institutions in Waco, College Station, Round Rock and Lakeway.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Doctorate Degree in Medicine
· Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
· Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
