Job Summary
The MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
Provides excellent patient care throughout the facility.
Practices proper MRI safety techniques with all patients, visitors, and employees.
Responsibilities
- Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents any deviation
- Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
- Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
- Takes emergency call as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) Certificate
- Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License
- Current BLS certification
- Two to five years' experience specific to MRI
