Middlesex Recovery is an addiction treatment program committed to providing medically supervised services for adults in various modalities and settings. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patient progress and develop an individualized plan of care.
Job Summary:
The licensed counselor will provide support and assistance to patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment. This includes utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach to help patients develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need, best practices, and state regulations
- Coordinate all services throughout treatment
- Conduct bio-psychosocial assessment
- Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient
- Respond to patient grievances and complaints
- Develop aftercare and discharge plans
Qualifications:
You must be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Additionally, you should demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population.
