Job Title: Full Time Admissions Coordinator
New Day Recovery is seeking a highly organized and professional Admissions Coordinator to handle various functions under the supervision of the Director of Admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with family members and potential clients regarding patient care expectations and necessary personal items.
- Receive phone calls after hours, on holidays, and weekends.
- Obtain financial and insurance information from clients in a secure manner.
- Coordinate with the billing company.
- Complete phone intake screenings and upload results into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to assess incoming clients.
- Meet with families and prospective clients to describe the program and services offered.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Follow established admissions processes.
- Visit treatment facilities, hospitals, and referral sources to promote the organization's services.
- Complete necessary paperwork prior to client intake.
- Treat clients with dignity and respect.
- Assist with client transportation as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Education:
- 1 years of administrative experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Pass State of Georgia criminal background and driving record checks.
Preferred Skills:
- Substance abuse treatment history.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and empathy with clients and family members.
- EHR systems experience.
