Counselor Supervisor
The Counselor Supervisor will oversee the work of Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as BayMark's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assigns counselors' caseloads and amends them when necessary.
- Conducts quality assurance file reviews.
- Directs and supervises all intake operations.
- Ensures efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
- Maintains accurate and current clinical records in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinics.
- Provides direct supervision to clinicians and assists in ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service training, guest speakers, and reviewing literature.
Qualifications:
- Must possess OH LCDC III, LICDC, LICDC-CS, and RN with Behavioral Health experience and LSW-S.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
- Must have prior supervisory experience, be self-motivated, and directed.
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
